Elliston's Puffin Souvenir Craft Shop offers a unique collection of handmade items that are made locally. Take note of our large “Locally Made Crafts” sign placed proudly over our main door. If you are looking for mass produced items from factories overseas, we can't help you.

Specifically, we are located in scenic Maberly (part of Elliston, Newfoundland) and our craft store is one of those old fashion stores that you don’t see anymore. It has been built along the old style pattern of stores that once existed throughout Newfoundland. We do business the “old-fashioned” way. The store is primarily a “cash” business, but we can accept EMTs.

Our shop is family owned and operated with items handcrafted by local artisans (many with a focus on Puffins, of course). Here you will not find shelves filled with mass produced stuff commonly found at many places for souvenirs. Our view is that a Newfoundland souvenir should be from Newfoundland or better yet the actual community you are visiting. After all, buying a gift and looking on the reverse to see it was made thousands of miles away greatly diminishes your Newfoundland vacation experience.

Special Exhibit

The Puffin Souvenir Craft Shop is proud to present a First World War (Royal Newfoundland Regiment) exhibit. It features items used during the war including a large item recovered from a tunnel beneath Beaumont Hamel (France) by the Durand Group based in the UK. We have the only such display in our entire region.
